Overview
The client is seeking a Front-end Developer with a strong interactive portfolio.The ideal candidate writes clean, sensible and efficient code while having a keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement tight designs.
Principle Responsibilities:
- You will be the technical authority for the website.
- You will be utilising your expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, XML.
- A significant part of the role involves working alongside the newly-appointed web designer to develop the creative direction of the brand.
- As well as responsibility for the general maintenance and live update of the website, your talent will also be required to code up promotional pages, develop microsites and upload coding.
- You will also be required to formulate and send out emails with data-capture segments.
The Person
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Expert knowledge and ability to hand-coding HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, DHTML, XML.
- Cross-browser & Cross-platform compatibility a must.
- Respect of W3C Standards and Specifications and best practices.
- A keen eye for pixel accuracy and a hardcore desire to implement tight designs.
- A keen eye for design desired skills.Experience with IA would be a bonus, Flash and Action Scripting, SQL or mySQL experience is a bonus as well.
- This role will keep you busy with the volume of work due to the fast pace of the fashion industry so previous experience in the field is ideal.
- Whilst this is a busy environment to work in, the role requires a friendly personality who will easily fit into this laid-back but hard-working team.
