Principle Responsibilities:


Working under the Senior Online Merchandiser, you will assist with or own the processes for the following:

  • Control the delivery of website stock into and out of the warehouse.
  • Maintain the companys product offering online,adding and removing products as necessary.
  • Review line performance and manage re-ordering system for ongoing lines.
  • Achieve online sales targets.
  • Provide a constant and thorough set of operational and trading data for the web business.
  • Identify areas of profit potential and risk through analysis of sales and trends.
  • Maintain fresh and engaging web promotions to support web sales.
  • Liaise with internal Merchandising department to manage the product database on our Sourcing System.
  • Improve site conversion and basket value through clear, accurate and persuasive copy.
  • Arrange product ranges and collections online to assist the customer journey.
  • Use analytics and merchandising software to analyse and track online traffic and adapt merchandising on the site to maximise basket size, conversion rate and margin.
  • Effective selection and management of online cross and up-sells.
  • Work on other aspects of the online channel as required from time to time.

The Person

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of one year working within online merchandising.
  • Understanding of E-Commerce and the online shopping experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and an enquiring mind.
  • Experience of communication to a senior level.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and Work skills.
  • Conceptual understanding of ERP.
  • Working knowledge of OTB.
