LAKELAND ADDS VIDEO PRODUCT DEMONSTRATIONS TO WEBSITE

Lakeland is introducing video product demonstrations to its website, following its recent rebranding as ‘the home of creative kitchenware’.
Visitors to the Lakeland website can now watch video clips for a number of products, such as the Remoska range of electric cookers. More demonstrations will be added over the next few months.
The video demonstrations are led by Wendy, Lakeland’s Customer Ambassador, who also features in the mail order catalogues and in-store as well as on the website.
Product demonstrations are the latest in a number of features that Lakeland is adding to its website, with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction and creating a community feel.
The work was completed by Snow Valley, Lakeland’s e-commerce provider.
Elaine Dawson, Marketing Director, said, “We’re constantly looking for ways to increase customer satisfaction across all of our channels. Adding video to our website clearly has a lot of potential, both in terms of explaining how our products work and in helping to build more personal relationships with our customers.”
