Toys R Us was an early adopter of web technology, launching their original online store in 1996. By Christmas 2002 it had become clear that online sales were set to grow considerably, and so they decided to invest in a best-of-breed e-commerce solution.

Further Phases
Since 2003, Snow Valley has carried out a series of enhancements to the Toys R Us website. An improved on-site search mechanism ensures that customers visiting the site can find the items that they are looking for. The site has also been optimised for W3C guidelines, bringing it into line with the Disability Discrimination Act and improving natural search engine rankings. A delivery management module was added to give customers a number of cost/time options.
